About the Campaign

Before coming to Concordia, our beloved professor, the Rev. Dr. Eshetu Abate, was a leader of the Lutheran Christian Church in Ethiopia. He planted churches, he shared the Gospel, and he brought the Word of God to millions of people in his home country. Here in America, we knew him as an outstanding teacher, a humble man – one of those exemplary leaders of the faith we read about in Hebrews 13:7. We miss him dearly!
