Water to Thrive (W2T) is a grassroots ministry, grown out of a Lutheran church in Austin, Texas. We are so appreciative and excited about the support shown from congregations and organizations across the nation. The response has been inspiring!
Congregations have supported W2T in various ways. Below are just some of the ways that others have supported, and some tools that can be helpful. However your congregation chooses to support this ministry, you will make a difference and change lives.
Sponsor a Well:
Your congregation can sponsor a well for as little as $3500! When you fund a well, you have the honor of naming the well (with limited characters) on a plaque that will be at the well site, sharing your vision and your support with those using the well for years to come. <Pix of well signage>
Congregational Curriculums
Adult Bible study: we have an adult Bible study curriculum that you can download and adapt to fit your needs. The curriculum offers a guided study of the water crisis in today’s world and our role as Christians in serving God’s people.
Children’s Program: There are many ways that children can be connected to the need for clean water. Ask us how to involve your youngsters and younger Sunday school groups.
7×7 Challenge (Youth): The 7×7 Challenge is a great way to get a youth group involved. Check out how this educated youth, then also teaches them empowerment to spread the message, and be part of the actual solution.

Temple Talk Outline & Example: download our brief temple talk materials to share with your congregation. Being part of the solution can sometimes start through educating others on the need.
Power Point Presentation: download our PowerPoint presentation to use as a tool to visually communicate the world water crisis through photos, facts, and talking points.
