2010 marks the second year of the W2T 5K and Kids K at Austin’s Hill Country Galleria shopping center. Bring a friend or the entire family for a morning of fitness and fun, complete with music, prizes, food and more!
Sponsorship Opportunities / Corporate Sponsorships
Starting at just $150, these packages allow you/your group/ or your company name to be associated with W2T 5K and Kids K prior to and during the event. Depending upon your level of sponsorship, your name or logo may appear on t-shirts, event posters, entry forms, and pre-event advertising. On event day your message will reach more than 400 people via on-site signage and booth space.

- Reach an audience of hundreds on event day
- Extend and reinforce current marketing programs through PR opportunities
- Showcase and test-market products to a highly targeted audience

In-Kind Sponsorships
- The event sponsorship committee accepts in-kind goods and services. We also encourage you to tag your advertising with your sponsorship of the event.

RACE TEAMS – Build company morale and form a team. Team members receive all the benefits of individual race participants plus early packet pick-up. Teams may be comprised of families, friends and co-workers. We encourage teams to proudly wear t-shirts displaying their company name or logo on race day.

The vision for the Share the Well Benefit Concert came from Clayton Faulkner, a worship leader and singer/songwriter in Houston, TX. He and his wife Margo adopted their son Deacon from Ethiopia in 2007 and in 2010 welcomed their second Ethiopian son Masamo to the family. Clayton teamed up with Randall Goodgame, a singer/songwriter in Nashville, TN who also has an adopted son, Benjamin, from Ethiopia. Together with Ross King, a singer/songwriter and adoptive father from College Station, TX, they are giving back to the country that has given them so much. The “Share the Well” concert will benefit Water 2 Thrive, W2T is an Austin, TX based non-profit organization that seeks to improve the lives of those less fortunate and those living without their simplest, most basic human need – the need for clean water. W2T implements water projects in impoverished communities in rural Africa. Water to Thrive Family Fun Walk

Please join us at 9:00 AM on Saturday, October 3rd at Terry Hershey Park for a Family Fun Walk event to help support our mission: To Give the Gift of Water to people in rural Africa. Bring friends or your entire family. Bring a picnic and spend time at the beautiful Terry Hershey Park for a morning of fitness and fun, complete with prizes, food, and more If you can’t join us please help support others fundraising efforts with a generous contribution. Please make your check out to ‘Water to Thrive’ .
The walk for water starts early in the morning for most rural Africans. Women and girls begin each day with this arduous task, a task which can take up to five hours to complete. The burden is both physical and emotional. The containers of water they carry weigh between 40 and 60 pounds. Emotionally, the burden is even heavier. Mothers must give their children the only thing they have available to drink – contaminated water that may make them extremely sick. Each day is the same – is a struggle to survive.
Water to Thrive seeks to offer a solution to this pressing need for clean, safe water. We recognize that access to clean water is essential and is a basic human right. In our efforts to bring clean water to impoverished people, our first task is to create awareness of the problem.
